[Western Crossover] A Glimmer of Light

Sometimes, Alia thinks the luckiest thing that ever happened to her was meeting Aaron. BAU unit chief and senior profiler Hotchner, however, says Alia is the gift God sent him. You Are My Sunshine. From the moment I met you, I knew you would be my light. From the moment you met me, I knew you were the light I had to protect. Please note: 1. This story is mainly set in the world of Criminal Minds, with a few crossovers with other crime-solving TV shows. 2. Hotchner is the male lead. His age has been changed for the story, making him seven years younger than in the original series. 3. For ease of reading, all names are given in Chinese. I'll add notes in the author's comments when I remember. 4. Hotchner's canon pairing is broken up, but he and Haley did date. They never married. 5. The heroine, Alia, has some Chinese ancestry, though it isn't very noticeable in her appearance. (I just can't write a fully Western-looking heroine.) 6. If you don't like it, feel free to leave. Please read rationally and get along. Theme: Be brave and strong in any difficult situation.
