Wild Wind and Grains of Sand

During the time I stopped writing, I tried writing a few stories, but unfortunately, I could never immerse myself in the stories I wanted to create.

Writing is a way to add variety to my life.

When I’m especially sad, I don’t like to talk. I mostly rely on words to heal myself.

But in the past two years, no matter how sad I felt, I couldn’t write anything, especially stories about the characters in my imagination.

Recently, I’ve been feeling a little better, so I decided to write this collection of essays and put down some stories from the past two years.

Calling them stories is a bit of a stretch. They’re more like travelogues about my motorcycle trips.

A story about the wind and freedom carrying me away from moderate depression and anxiety.

Wild Wind means freedom.

Grains of Sand are the places I’ve been.

From the north of Xinjiang to the south.

By coincidence, after my symptoms eased considerably over the past few months, I met several friends who had fallen into depression for almost the same reasons as I had.

I dedicate this collection of essays to everyone who shares my pain.

I hope you can find your way out, too.
