Qi Ming: A sunny, outgoing basketball player who always acts before he thinks.

Zhou Yi'an: A quiet, slender boy who loves literature and hides behind loose-fitting clothes and books.

When their counselor assigns these two polar opposites to the same dorm room, a tug-of-war of "feeding" and "running away" begins.

"Why do you always avoid me?" Under the ginkgo tree, Qi Ming finally caught Zhou Yi'an trying to slip away again.

"You wouldn't want to be friends with someone like me..." Zhou Yi'an lowered his head.

But Qi Ming had already decided: he was going to fatten up this roommate who never ate properly! From breakfasts he "accidentally bought too much" to cookies he "made too many of" during a work class, Qi Ming's excuses for feeding him grew more and more ridiculous.

[The cutest "penguin" basketball lesson] After Zhou Yi'an's shot completely missed the basket, he looked bewildered. Qi Ming laughed so hard he could barely stand. "You really look like a penguin!" But when Zhou Yi'an finally made his first basket and turned around with a rare, radiant smile, Qi Ming's heart skipped a beat. Oh no, maybe he wanted to be more than friends.

From the dorm to a rented apartment, from just the two of them to the two of them and a cat. Qi Ming discovers that when Zhou Yi'an falls asleep, he unconsciously snuggles into his arms. Zhou Yi'an discovers that Qi Ming's phone gallery is full of pictures of him sleeping.

The ginkgo leaves turn yellow, then green again. Some feelings quietly grow in the time they spend together each day.

"I've always wanted to be your friend, actually." That was the beginning, but nowhere near the end.
