Abandoned vengeful spirit doll x lonely, oblivious boy

One rainy night, Zhi Xia picked up an abandoned cotton doll on his way home from his convenience-store job. He didn't know it was possessed by Mu Qin, a ghost full of resentment after being abandoned.

"You were thrown away too..."

"Come home with me."

For a hundred years, this doll had gotten revenge on its hypocritical human owners by scaring them, even if it meant being abandoned again. But Mu Qin kept being thwarted by the oblivious Zhi Xia.

Mu Qin caused trouble in the middle of the night, but Zhi Xia just kept sleeping groggily. When he finally managed to get up, thinking he'd scared him at last, it turned out the kid just needed to use the bathroom!

"Is this guy an idiot?!"

But when Zhi Xia patched its wounds, shared dinner with it, and confided in it, Mu Qin seemed to start accepting this hopelessly dense human.

When Zhi Xia held it and said,

"Being abandoned must hurt. It won't happen again,"

the resentment he'd carried for a hundred years wavered for the first time...

"Fine. I won't scare you anymore."
