She's a Gorgeous Background Character

As an extra in a novel, Ning Yi dutifully showed up every day to witness the main cast's memorable moments, including but not limited to:

Showing up at the basketball court right on time every day to cheer for Lu Jin, the school bully and captain of the school basketball team.

Going to the honor roll after every monthly exam to marvel at the god of academics, Xu Huang, leaving everyone else far behind, and gasp in amazement.

As one of the many spectators, Ning Yi also never missed a single violin performance by the aloof, high-born art student who was the school's heartthrob.

And so on...

What she didn't know was that no extra could possibly be as pretty as she was...

619, a veteran Extra System, made a very serious mistake.

To ensure the mission went smoothly, it had specifically gone to an orphanage to find an ordinary-looking five-year-old girl to bind to and raise from childhood.

It never expected that, as she grew older, her beauty, a talent wholly unsuited to an extra, would start to emerge in full force.

619 was troubled every day by how to conceal Ning Yi's beauty so she could complete her mission without a hitch.

But without its knowledge, the secret was beginning to get out...

After dutifully doing this for so long, Ning Yi was finally on the verge of completing her mission. She happily set off to witness the last of the leads' dramatic, tension-filled moments.

But when she arrived, she heard...

Lu Jin, the cool guy who never bothered responding to anyone, was showing off like a peacock in full display. "She likes me. She comes to every one of my games."

Remembering the figure who always hurried to the auditorium to watch him perform, the art student heartthrob smiled scornfully. "The only person she's ever liked, from beginning to end, is me."

The aloof academic genius had simply walked away from this pointless dispute. He'd spent a week preparing a collection of problems she'd gotten wrong, and he was in a hurry to take it to her.

Ning Yi: ? Who are they talking about?

Passerby: I think it's you...

Theme: Kind people deserve to be loved.
