What Should I Do If My Wife Falls for My Best Friend?

Gojo Satoru played a romance game called Love and Ordinary People, which had recently become incredibly popular! Before long, he was hopelessly in love with the heroine.

She was just too cute. Her looks, her personality, even the way she spoke, it was as if she had been made just for him. He even gave her a lovely name: Sachiko.

He spent money on the game, pulled cards, and saved up for guaranteed rewards, all just to buy his darling a new outfit.

One day, his best friend told him he was about to fall in love. He'd met a girl at a convenience store, and she was cute. He really liked her.

Gojo Satoru gave a distracted, "Mm, yeah, oh," without looking up, scrolling through a guide to the latest chapter of Love and Ordinary People.

That afternoon, after finishing a mission and getting ready to head back, he happened to see his best friend saying goodbye to his girlfriend at the school gate.

"Huh? Satoru."

His best friend waved. "This is Miss Sachiko, the friend I told you about this morning."

"Hey, Sachi... Huh? Sachi...?"

Gojo looked at the girl before him, then lowered his eyes to his phone.

He looked at the girl again, then lowered his eyes to his phone.

Gojo: O.o?

Your name is Sachiko. You're an ordinary student, and you fell in love at first sight with a boy named Geto Suguru when you met him while working at a convenience store.

But there's something strange about Suguru's best friend, Gojo. He doesn't seem to like you at all. In fact, he seems to... hate you.

When you're alone with Suguru, he wedges himself between you and drags Suguru away without saying a word to you. When you call, he forcibly hangs up and loudly says, "We're going on a mission! We're going on a mission! Don't call Suguru unless it's important."

Gojo hardly ever speaks to you, but for some reason, after class he always comes to the convenience store where you work, sits there pretending to read manga, and secretly watches you.

Finally, one day, you get your chance and tug at Gojo Satoru's sleeve. "Excuse me, Gojo. Could I talk to you?"

Gojo Satoru freezes for a second, goes blank the next, then suddenly turns red at the ears and backs away several steps as if facing a mortal threat.

"Y-You can't just get so close to me all of a sudden!"

He raises a hand to cover his mouth, his eyes darting away. "Do you really... not remember me?"

You: ...Huh?
