I Cosplayed Muzan, Transmigrated, and Ran Into Tomie [Horror Crossover]

My name is Lin Yueyan. Since I share a name with the Demon King, I cosplayed Muzan at a convention, and then... I transmigrated.

The good news: I didn't transmigrate to the impoverished Taisho era. When I opened my eyes, I was still in the modern world.

The bad news: I only know a smattering of Japanese, and I've become a middle school student. I'm about to go through school all over again.

This sucks.

Who can understand the feeling of going from a top student to the bottom of the class?

Just as I was worrying about it, I noticed a new student had transferred into my class. His name was Tomie.

Me: ...

...Hahaha, it's just a case of sharing the same name, right? I can't be that unlucky, hahaha... But I went home that night and tried out Muzan's abilities. Great, I'm immortal too, and sunlight doesn't bother me.

Well, then there's nothing to be afraid of. The next day, I marched back to class with my head held high.

Then I realized there was definitely something wrong with this world.

A new family moved in next door. They said they were investigating the secrets of the Saeki family, and had just learned that the family had a wife named Kayako and a son named Toshio.

They invited me to join their investigation team.

My teacher suddenly became obsessed with strange art, claiming that someone could predict the future using psychic powers. Her name was Sadako, though she'd died many years ago.

Then she pulled out a videotape and eagerly shared it with me.

An online friend told me she had a beloved doll named Annabelle, who told her stories and chatted with her at night.

After saying that, she sent me a photo with a quick whoosh. I opened it and saw an incredibly ugly little demon doll.

Me: ...

Me: …

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with all of you? Even if I were Muzan, I'd be scared right now! Help, help, help! Mom, I don't want a phone anymore! I miss the impoverished Taisho era!-

I really want to run, but I can't. Not only can I not run, my System tells me I have to face my fears. What's there to be afraid of? You're the Demon King!- Aaaah, damn it, my Demon King isn't that kind of demon king! (screaming) (running for my life) (scrabbling around on the floor)

After I somehow made it through the trials of Jujutsu Kaisen, Midnight XX, The Grudge, Annabelle, and so on-

I looked back and saw that my class had fallen into chaos. A beautiful "girl" who didn't look human had driven everyone mad. She tilted her head and followed me, her face full of curiosity. Who knew how long she'd been watching?

"Yueyan, how long does it take your heart to grow back after it's been torn out?"

Me: ...

I tried to keep my expression from cracking and calmly replied, "A few seconds. Want to find out?"

??? No, wait. What am I saying?
