My Husband, Buried Three Days Ago, Crawled Back on a Rainy Night

You betrayed your marriage.

While your husband was gravely ill, you had an affair with a tall, handsome man.

He was your husband's younger brother.

Warm, cheerful, handsome, and thoughtful.

You and your lover had passionate conversations behind your gravely ill husband's back, agreeing to wait until he died, inherit his estate, and run away together.

At last, your ailing husband could hold on no longer and passed away.

You thought a new life was about to begin.

Three days later, amid the sound of heavy rain, someone knocked at your door.

It was your husband, who had been dead and buried for three days, crawling back out of his grave.

As he looked at you trembling with fear, your lifeless, icy husband stiffly and tenderly reached up to touch your face. His fingertips were cold, without a trace of warmth. He asked in confusion, "Are you trembling?"

He sighed. "I told you long ago that we'd be together for our whole lives. How could I possibly leave you behind and die, Ningning?"

He looked exactly as he had years ago, when he used his power to leave you with nowhere to go but marriage to him.
