Oh, Right, Right, Right, I'm the Immortal Venerable's Surviving Spouse

[I've tweaked the blurb, but the premise is unchanged]

Ji Langyu has a favorite character from a novel: a celestial sovereign, noble and serene, profound as still water, who willingly gave her life for all living beings.

But in the original novel, the sovereign appears only a handful of times. The story is mostly about her disciples stirring up trouble across the world.

There was so little about the sovereign in the original that Ji Langyu had no choice but to write fanfiction herself and create the content she wanted.

But she never expected to wake up one day and transmigrate into the cultivation world. When her life was finally in danger, she confirmed that she had transmigrated into a book, and that her golden finger had arrived.

Her golden finger wasn't a System or an old woman living in her mind. It was the self-insert romance fanfiction she'd written, along with the commissions she'd drawn.

Maybe it was a conflict in the underlying code, but Ji Langyu had no memories of spending time with the celestial sovereign. Still, mementos from their time together were scattered across the entire continent.

It was mortifying...

At last, she understood why she'd transmigrated into the book: she was the only celestial sovereign fan in the entire fandom!

With her life in danger, Ji Langyu had one inspiration after another, and decided to blaze a new trail as a widow in order to win herself a chance at survival.

She would tell the most outrageous lie imaginable!

The peace of the immortal sect was shattered as Ji Langyu made her grand entrance.

Why did she hate the protagonists so much? Of course it was because she loved the celestial sovereign so deeply!

Yes, that's right. She was the celestial sovereign's widow.

She had doubts about the sovereign's death and would avenge her!

She would teach those unfilial disciples a lesson on the sovereign's behalf!

The former celestial sovereign, now the Demon Venerable, had just crawled out of the demon lair. Before she could take revenge on the cultivation world, someone threw their arms around her, removed her demon mask, and planted a big kiss on her face.

"Even if you turned to ash, I'd still recognize you!"
