Withdrawal Symptoms

(The whole story is drafted.)

Not long, probably 100,000 to 200,000 words.

A reclusive cat girl and her little rose auntie

"I once had a rose. She was dazzling, her petals just about to bloom, but I lost her. I often regret it, yet deep down I feel relieved, because I couldn't bear to watch the rose wither because of me. That would be a terrible sin."

"What happened after that?"

"The rose took me in her arms."

Some cats are allergic to roses, but I'm not. You are the only impossible desire I've had all these years.
