My Deskmate's Luck Sprout Is Wilting!

Shen Pingle has a secret: he can see the "little seedlings of fortune" above everyone's head.

Lush green means good luck, withered yellow and gray means hardship, while dark as ink... means destruction.

Then a boy named Lin Zhan appears. His seedling is a grayish black Shen Pingle has never seen before, on the verge of withering away.

Shen Pingle: "You're a forest strewn with stars in my pink daydream!"

Lin Zhan: "The morning light begins at the top of the White Tower, and will one day shine on the land beneath the gloom."

"We fall, we break, we sink into the abyss, but in the end, we will be lifted up and healed. We have nothing to fear."

A god descends into the mortal world for one reason: to embrace the wretched, filthy boy he treasures above all else.

[Reading Guide]

This is a story of redemption and healing, of awkwardly reaching out and steadfastly protecting one another. Watch the flirtatious little ray of sunshine melt an iceberg, and see a dying seedling bloom anew beneath the moonlight.
