June had arrived, and this summer had brought an unusual amount of rain.

It had been raining for a full week, with no sign of stopping.

On their day off, Shi Yu joked with Lu Yan, "Lu Yan, don't you think this rain is a sign that the world's about to end?"

"Read fewer novels."

"Then take back those dozens of bags of rice in the storage room and the entire fridge full of meat!"

Lu Yan gave him a knowing smile. "You didn't mention those several huge boxes of snacks."

Shi Yu guiltily looked away.

"All right, then." Lu Yan stood up. "I'll do as you say and return them right now."

"Hey!" Shi Yu stopped him, then let go and leaned back on the sofa, his voice soft and sweet. "Since we already bought them, let's not return them. It'd be such a hassle."

Lu Yan pinched his fingers and gave a meaningful "Oh."

Shi Yu bristled. "What's that 'oh' for?" Wasn't he supposed to be sweet and considerate?

"Such a good boy."

"..."

Fine. This man was always flirting with him.

A little note from the author: All right, the final revision is done! May all typos and grammatical errors vanish, vanish, vanish!!!
