The Abandoned Land [Cyberpunk]

Guided by her credo of keeping a low profile, Xu Wenzhao has kept her supernatural ability hidden.

At a public university, stuck in a lousy major and without any powers, she's hit with a triple whammy. As the top student in her major, she's assigned to intern at the SD107 Security Department.

Everyone in the Alliance knows SD107 is a harsh place to live. It's a coastal city, but the sea is full of mutants, the land borders nothing but fallen zones, and the city's infrastructure is backward.

Before she even reports for duty, she's chased by a resurrected mutant.

On her first day at work, NPCs and bosses in an anomaly zone keep targeting her.

On her second day, her superior threatens to kill her after failing to recruit her.

Why does everyone want to kick her while she's down!?

Xu Wenzhao: Come on, I'm keeping a low profile, not being useless!

If holding back only makes her enemies get even more outrageous, then she might as well strike first!

Her superior's lackeys try to play the game of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind it.

Xu Wenzhao promptly blows the mission site to pieces. "How are you going to explain this now?"

Five robots stand in her way as she sets out to kill a crooked capitalist.

Knowing there's a tiger on the mountain, she heads straight for it.

A whole arsenal of weapons takes the stage, and combined with her supernatural ability, [Bone Shrinking Technique], they produce spectacular results.

Her feat of taking down five combat robots in a row makes Xu Wenzhao famous overnight.

When her enemies assume her power is [Bone Shrinking Technique], they step right into her trap.

In a narrow corridor, Xu Wenzhao displays several different supernatural abilities at once, catching the enemies hunting her completely off guard.

To their astonishment, she can copy other people's abilities!

Before they can react, a killing machine descends, and Xu Wenzhao efficiently finishes them off.

After demonstrating her abilities and proving her worth, the head of the Security Department selects her as an agent to investigate a sinister conglomerate that has been hidden for years.

Human experimentation, predatory medical loans, drug monopolies... their crimes are too numerous to count.

Investigating them no longer satisfies her. She wants to destroy them completely.

People say she's crazy to dare take on the conglomerate.

Xu Wenzhao asks in return, "Don't they deserve to die?"

It comes as no surprise that she becomes a thorn in the conglomerate's side.

"Funny, I can't stand you either."

If the world won't accept her, then she'll change the world.
