The Long Story of Our Divorce

Xu Wei knew that Xie Ruzhang might only feel nostalgic once in this lifetime. He would get only one chance to ask.

As long as it wasn't anything too outrageous, Xie Ruzhang probably wouldn't refuse him.

So on their wedding night, Xu Wei wore a silk nightgown, wrapped his arms around the waist of the man in his suit, and begged him to take him away.

Xie Ruzhang agreed.

Xu Wei thought that after that, he and Xie Ruzhang would never see each other again. But the road to eloping was long. After driving for half an hour, Xie Ruzhang wrapped him up in a blanket and bundled him back home.

Someone had planned this all along.

Xie Ruzhang had dominated the business world for fifty years, yet remained alone into old age. As wise as he was, he was still bound for life by the person he had been unable to have in his youth.

Reborn into another life, before Xie Ruzhang could even speak, the person he had always longed for was already ready to leave with him, no matter the cost.

The man's face was as hard as a blade. After a long silence, he gritted his teeth and asked, "What about the divorce?"

Xu Wei only looked at him and said softly, "That's a long story."

The big hand gripping his waist was so heavy and tight. It needed to loosen a little before Xu Wei could tell it.
