The Model in the Shop Window

● A crossover fanfic with the Souichi series, featuring the entire Junji Ito cast!

● The author is indulging in some self-indulgence and giving Chuan a leading role for once!

With a gambling-addicted dad, a sick mom, a little brother to put through school, and his own handsome, well-endowed self, Kobayashi Hayato is undoubtedly the protagonist.

Certain that he had everything it took to be a leading man, Kobayashi Hayato resolutely stepped into the entertainment industry.

The neon-lit entertainment industry is a terrifying place! Things didn't go as Kobayashi Hayato had hoped: he didn't become an overnight sensation, and he nearly lost his precious innocence!

Danger! Danger!

How can he become famous and make enough money to support his family?

Kobayashi Hayato took some internet advice and decided to raise a little ghost. He was clever enough to figure that a local Japanese ghost would probably be more effective than one from Thailand, right?

After offering up his sacrifice with devout sincerity, Kobayashi Hayato looked up and saw his terrifying, imposing, two-meter-tall future wife.

She was a fashion model with extraordinary talent, who had died years ago because of a rival's jealousy.

Many years later, someone interviewed Kobayashi Hayato and asked what kind of woman he liked.

At the height of his career, Kobayashi Hayato immediately announced his relationship: "Thank you all for your concern, reporters. I'm already married."

The media were stunned by this sudden announcement. After a few seconds of shock, they began firing questions at him.

The megastar Kobayashi Hayato took a diamond ring from his suit pocket, slipped it onto his ring finger, and showed it to everyone.

Then he said, beaming:

"My wife is in the industry. She's a fashion model."

"She's very professional and a little serious when she's working, but when we spend time together in private, her smile is so warm and friendly."

"Miss Kawakami? No, no, not her. Miss Kawakami is very charming, but I love my wife more."

Because my wife's broad shoulders make me feel so safe.

An absurdly eccentric megastar seme × a ghostly fashion model uke

Reader's guide (content warnings):

1. The seme is an original character. The uke is Chuan, from the short story "Fashion Model" in Junji Ito's Souichi series. Please note that the character has been gender-swapped here.

2. The uke has two forms: [Unparalleled Beauty in Life] and [Terrifying in Death]. My version includes more than the original. Apologies for the OOC portrayal.

3. You don't need to know the original to enjoy this.

Theme: You still have to win.
