Finger Marks [Fanfiction]

He is the executor she hired.

She is the target he has been assigned to eliminate.

No trust, no affection, only close protection, tactical soothing, and mission completion.

Until the first time she bites his shoulder and whispers, "This is your reward. You should learn to accept it."

He is the bound one.

But in the end, she destroys the System with her own hands, embracing freedom through death.

Aloof executor x out-of-control bound one

Near-future urban sci-fi, restrained desire, System retaliation

"In this city, desire has never been a descent into depravity. It's the only route to survival."

Reading guide:

1. This is more like an unconventional fanfic: an alternate-universe Jiang Yan and Mo Bei. The System here is an advanced employment and mission-execution System that manages the interactions and elimination protocols between "executors" (Mo Bei) and "bound ones" (Jiang Yan).

2. I'm planning to write an original novel with the same title as this fanfic, also called "Fingerprints." It's set in a near-future cyberpunk world and features a wicked heiress and her guard dog of a bodyguard. Feel free to picture them as you read. That's what I did while writing. I picked up the habit after reading scripts in Korea, and I had so much fun writing it!!!! If you like it, go add the other one to your favorites~~

3. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Theme: Survival comes first
