The Beautiful Educated Youth Caught the Eye of a Rugged Man

[Spoiled, Stubborn Bottom x Tough Country Boy Top] sc

Ning Shuyuan, a young master from Shanghai, is forced to move to the countryside. Delicate and pampered, he can barely hold a hoe, earning nothing but scorn from Chen Mu, the production team leader.

Chen Mu is the toughest man in the village, broad-shouldered, long-legged, and deft at work. He can't stand soft-skinned city boys like Ning Shuyuan.

But when Ning Shuyuan leaps into a raging current to save a child, Chen Mu realizes that the young master has a stubborn streak deep down.

Like a wild rose in the mountains, he grows more vibrant the fiercer the storm.

Ning Shuyuan is summoned back to the city. His father's critical illness is a lie; the real reason is that his family wants to force him into a marriage.

"Don't come back." Chen Mu pushes him away, his Adam's apple bobbing. "You belong in the city."

Ning Shuyuan grips the little wooden carving Chen Mu made for him, his eyes red as he smiles. "Chen Mu, once I've made up my mind, I won't turn back, even if it kills me."

Later, Ning Shuyuan stands onstage wearing a big red flower and gives a speech.

Chen Mu smiles softly from below. "That little rascal really made something of himself."

The green hills stretch far away, the road winds on. I'll walk every step of the way until I reach your side.
