A young master who acts like a spoiled brat and works hard to play the lovesick fool, bottom
Yan Jingmo transmigrates into a book, into a novel his entertainment company has just bought. It's a cliched story about a lovesick young master who flirts with everyone and throws the business world into chaos.
As the butler, Yan Jingmo is supposed to follow this storyline:
1. Take care of the young master's daily needs.
2. Fall for the young master's seduction, become his devoted servant, and obey his every command.
3. Help the young master turn the business world upside down and claim the throne, then, once he is no longer useful, kill himself.
Unfortunately for the plot, this man is no ordinary character from the original novel.
The young master tells him to pour tea. Yan Jingmo pinches his jaw open, points the teapot at his mouth, and smiles politely. "I hear Darjeeling tea goes perfectly with chestnut cake."
The young master gets into trouble and orders Yan Jingmo to clean up after him.
The man simply dials 110. "Hello, there's a bunch of amateurs here fighting each other."
Following the original plot, the young master tries to seduce him and asks him to become his bed partner.
That night, Yan Jingmo walks into the room carrying two books. "Young Master, tonight I'll be reading you the Dao De Jing and The Farmer and the Snake."
Eventually, the young master gets so angry that he threatens to get engaged to the rich playboy next door who works with electronic devices.
"Oh?" The man removes his white gloves, running his fingertip over the trembling young master restrained in the dim candlelight. "Believe me, if you dare get engaged to him, I'll play a video of our ■ love at your fiance's funeral."
Nan Zhaomu transmigrates into a book after a car accident, becoming the protagonist he'd written himself, a man who made his name by playing the villain.
A man who's struggled his whole life has never been born with a silver spoon in his mouth. At last, such incredible wealth has finally come his way!
He swears he'll do his best to copy the protagonist's life from the book and end up alone atop a mountain of gold and silver.
But why is the butler he wrote acting so strangely?
When he imitates the original young master by flipping the table because he doesn't like the food,
The butler takes out a handkerchief and tucks it into his collar. "The maid will clean the floor. You'll have to make do with the leftovers on the table."
Nan Zhaomu slowly produces a question mark: ?
When he tries to act the part and shows off like a peacock at a banquet,
The honest butler actually starts jabbing at a tire behind him. "Young Master, the four young masters Zhang, Li, Chen, and Wang all asked to see you at once. I've set up a card table and four fruit knives for them. Whoever does the most hacking gets to see you first."
Nan Zhaomu: ... Huh?
Because the butler keeps acting out of character, the story gradually slips out of Nan Zhaomu's control. Determined to find evidence that will clear his name, Nan Zhaomu decides to enter a business marriage.
Instead, he blacks out and wakes up in his own damp, dark basement. The butler regards him, wrapped up like a dumpling, with a vicious gaze completely unlike his usual persona.
The man has polished the knife in his hand until it gleams. Nan Zhaomu hears him say slowly, "Young Master, from today on, you and everything you own belong to me. As for those men in your way, leave them to me."
Nan Zhaomu can't take it anymore. "This isn't how the original story goes! Why do you always have to think for yourself? Follow the script!"
But the result of his desperate resistance is that, in the deserted basement, the butler pins Nan Zhaomu across his lap, leaving him crying and screaming in pain for three days...
