After My Archrival Was Struck by Lightning

A seemingly carefree, unrestrained top x a sharp-tongued but soft-hearted bottom with a cursed mouth

Yu Xian was struck by lightning.

It was because of something his childhood friend, Zhong Qinghuai, said: “If you dare lie to me, you’ll get struck by lightning.”

The strangest thing was that after being struck by lightning, Yu Xian discovered something: he could hear Zhong Qinghuai’s inner monologue, though only now and then.

When Yu Xian wanted to tease him by catching little bugs for him to play with:

[I really like Yu Xian. He’s such a good person.]

When Yu Xian took him on a bamboo raft to feed the fish:

[I hope Yu Xian doesn’t fall in. It’s so dangerous.]

When Yu Xian played basketball with their friends from the village:

[I hope Yu Xian doesn’t get hurt. Then he can stay by my side every day.]

Yu Xian had never imagined that Zhong Qinghuai, who had always hated him, could be so adorable.

After his internship went badly, Zhong Qinghuai became the company’s “scapegoat.” Crushed, he returned to the countryside, only to find that the person who came to pick him up was his childhood rival, the one he’d been annoyed by since they were kids.

He’d tossed out a curse without thinking, and it had come true.

But he discovered that his rival had become incredibly strange after being struck by lightning.

When Yu Xian held a little bug out to him, he thought:

[I really hate Yu Xian.]

So Yu Xian stopped teasing him.

When Yu Xian took him on a bamboo raft to feed the fish, he thought:

[Maybe I should just kick him in and feed him to the fish.]

Instead, Yu Xian treated him to a meal and took him fishing and grilling the catch.

When Yu Xian played basketball, Zhong Qinghuai thought:

[I hope he breaks his leg, so he’ll stop picking on me all the time.]

So Yu Xian took first place, then hugged him that night.

He discovered the most astonishing ability his rival had gained after being struck by lightning: his brain was broken, and he’d turned so kind!
