Novel blurb below
A laid-back, voice-obsessed actor who talks a mile a minute
&
A tsundere, secretly flirtatious gaming ace who says one thing and does another
Shi Juan is an actor who's hopelessly out of touch. While everyone else is surfing the internet at lightning speed, he's going against the grain. And despite his name, he always lies flat.
His manager gets so fed up with how laid-back he is that, in a fit of anger, he tosses him onto a variety show called [Everyone's a Producer].
In the first episode's two-way selection game, [Hear Them First], Shi Juan picks a male guest with a gorgeous voice. As a voice enthusiast, he can't help gushing:
"Your voice is so nice, big bro!"
"Big bro, I love your raspy bad-boy voice!"
"Big bro, your voice sounds so familiar!"
The male guest, whom he has never met, replies, "Thanks. You sound a lot like my ex-girlfriend, too."
Shi Juan: "...I'll take that as a compliment?"
Later, during filming, Shi Juan unexpectedly discovers that this gaming ace, Cen Zhuoxian, not only has a great voice and a handsome face, but is also the online gaming partner he flirted with back when he was lying flat at home and playing games!
He stays on his guard, terrified of being found out. He thinks his efforts are meticulous and foolproof, but why does Cen Zhuoxian keep asking him such strange questions?
For example:
"Teacher Shi Juan, do you play games?"
"Teacher Shi Juan, do you have a younger sister?"
"Teacher Shi Juan, have you ever been in a relationship?"
Shi Juan: "No! Absolutely not!"
Just as he's congratulating himself on his incredible acting skills, one night after filming, Cen Zhuoxian suddenly barges into the bathroom while he's about to shower and forcibly spreads his thighs.
The man's smile twists into something unsettling. "Teacher Shi Juan, the birthmark here is exactly the same as the one on my 'ex-girlfriend.'"
Shi Juan stammers, trying to bluff his way out of it. "...No, it's too dark. You must be seeing things, Gaming God. That's definitely not a birthmark."
The other man's tone grows increasingly suggestive. "Oh? Is that so? If I was mistaken, then let me take another look, a few more times."

A year later, Cen Zhuoxian stands onstage to accept an award. The camera pans to Shi Juan, dressed to the nines in a suit.
People watching the livestream whisper among themselves:
'Word in the industry is they're actually married.'
'I heard Shi Juan made the first move.'
'You've all got it wrong. Cen was raised to be Shi's husband. They got married as soon as he came of age.'
'No, no, no. Reliable sources say they broke up and got back together. The Shi family opposed them, so Cen joined the variety show to win Shi Juan back and earn the family's approval.'
Reading the wildly different rumors online about this melodramatic, wealthy-family romance, Shi Juan treats them as a joke. "They're saying you're my childhood bridegroom."
A look of indescribable amusement flashes in Cen Zhuoxian's eyes. He tugs open his collar and presses close, asking softly, "Since that's the case, Boss Shi, want to inspect your childhood bridegroom tonight? Same as usual: you lie flat, and I'll put in the extra work."
Shi Juan's cheeks turn red. "You pervert..."

★ A few tips before reading
1. The story mainly focuses on the entertainment industry and variety shows, with little gaming.
2. Due to the plot, the protagonist is shown wearing women's clothing for a short time. Please proceed with caution if this bothers you.
3. The couple will not break up, and their roles will not be reversed. Hope you enjoy reading and shipping them!
4. The dynamic is that although the protagonist calls the love interest "big bro," he is actually younger. At first, both pretend to be harmless while hiding their true natures; later, they transform into a pair of villains.
5. The next novel will be [After My Obsessive Junior Started Coveting Me with Stalkerware]. If you're interested, please visit my author page and add it to your favorites.

Here's another upcoming entertainment-industry novel with the same theme: [To Set the Record Straight, He's Really Gay]
A producer who spills explosive secrets for money & a scheming movie star who claims to be homophobic but is actually gay
There's a saying in the entertainment industry: producers and directors hear all kinds of juicy, unknown gossip.
So plenty of celebrities pay Liao Zhutie to get the dirt on their rivals. The more they pay, the more he has to say.
One day, a paparazzo pays him to ask, "Do you know any dirt on the movie star Chen Yiqiu?"
Talking about her dull husband, Liao Zhutie casually replies, "Oh, him? He's homophobic, but loves pretending to be gay."
When the man he's slandered tracks him down, Liao Zhutie is dancing in the hottest gay bar at a film location hundreds of kilometers from home. Chen Yiqiu, scowling, yanks him off the table.
He buttons up Liao Zhutie's shirt, one button at a time, then holds his chin and demands, "I heard you're telling everyone I'm pretending to be gay. Are you really homophobic?"
Liao Zhutie's dazed eyes fly open. "I'm not! I didn't! Don't make things up!"
But he never expected his husband from hell to start chasing him down and announce the very next day that he was joining the variety show Liao had planned!
This supposedly homophobic man keeps breaking the rules and making trouble for him. Finally, Liao can't take it anymore and confronts Chen Yiqiu.
"We're already in the post-divorce cooling-off period! What do you want from me?"
Chen Yiqiu: "Let me set the record straight. I'm not homophobic. I'm actually gay."
_
A variety show comes out of nowhere, and the public's favorite thing is watching a movie star who never used to appear on variety shows break the rules in all sorts of ways and cause all kinds of trouble for the production team.
While fans marvel at Chen Yiqiu's intelligence and hidden comedic potential, some people notice that...
Chen Yiqiu often glances away from the camera, his expression focused and gentle.
One day, after losing a variety-show game, Chen Yiqiu is setting up the equipment for a livestream and fails to notice the little red light on the camera.
Millions of people who flood into the livestream hear Liao Zhutie's clear, breathy voice:
"Honey, where did my underwear go? Help me look for it."
They watch Chen Yiqiu, who has always cultivated an aloof, refined image since his debut, raise an eyebrow and reply teasingly, "Go commando. You're going to take them off anyway."
Fans: Ah! Honey?! Weren't you homophobic and pretending to be gay?
Less than half an hour later, Chen Yiqiu posts on Weibo:
[Sorry, let me set the record straight: I'm actually gay. @CookingPorkTrotters is my partner.]
Under his threatening, coaxing gaze, Liao Zhutie tearfully types out the words:
[Hello, everyone. I'm (sniffles) Liao Zhutie. Let me set the record straight: my husband is actually gay.]
