Haunted House Not Selling? Help Us [Livestream]

Bai Mei, a powerful cultivator of the occult arts, has traveled through 999 quick transmigration worlds, yet still hasn't found the last wisp of her master's lost soul.

In the thousandth world, with almost no hope left, she binds herself to a haunted-house sales System.

System: Boohoo, I want a top salesperson! Who wants a little girl...

Before it could finish, the System realized it could no longer make a sound.

The System looked at the girl before it. She touched its forehead with her slender index finger and read its thoughts.

[Our haunted houses aren't selling. Please help us.]

[The more you sell, the more life points you earn. Livestream tips count as legitimate income, too.]

[I'm just virtual code. Why can she touch me?]

Bai Mei's thoughts: Found you.

Bai Mei: Want a body? I can give you one.

Bai Mei made a hand seal, and the System became a rosy-cheeked little child.

Haunted houses where someone has died, or homes plagued by frequent ghost sightings, usually don't sell even at half price.

But lately, the haunted-house market in Youdu has been booming. Even at a markup, buyers can't get their hands on one.

That's because any haunted house blessed and cleansed by Master Bai is as good as a giant good-luck charm.

[I've been married to my husband for seven years. If Master Bai hadn't set me straight, I never would've known how many women he'd been seeing behind my back, or that he'd gotten one of them pregnant.]

[That lousy salesperson! The house I bought had someone die in it, and every night I heard a baby crying. Once the little ghost was reincarnated, I could finally sleep in peace, too.]

[Don't try to beat me to it! The haunted house Master Bai is auctioning off on her livestream tonight is mine. I'll outbid everyone, even if I have to double the price!]

Bai Mei's livestream took off. Viewers sent rockets one after another, and her channel stayed at the top of the popularity charts.

But everyone noticed that whenever Master Bai exorcised evil spirits, there was always a chatterbox of a kid tagging along.

"You wanted money, understand?"

"Why did it turn into merit points?"

"What did you put in my body? Why am I getting bigger?"

Bai Mei simply continued livestreaming her haunted-house sales, exorcising evil spirits, catching ghosts, subduing demons, and slaying monsters...

The child grew at an astonishing speed and soon became a graceful young man.

When danger came, the young man stepped in front of Bai Mei and formed a hand seal. "Don't be afraid. I'll protect you, Master."

Viewers: Master? His master? Who raised whom here?

A ruthless, max-level female Celestial Master who doesn't waste words x a forgetful, transformed male System who can't stop talking

Guide:

1. Occult arts + raising a kid + livestreaming. The male lead is both the female lead's master and the System. They save each other.

2. The occult lore in this story is largely invented. Please don't take it too seriously.
