Because of his mother's dying words, Yan Changhong lived his life as the very embodiment of the upright gentleman stereotype.

It wasn't until the day the Heavenly Demon wreaked havoc on the world and countless cultivators saw the two standing side by side in the air, that so-called stand-in holding the Six Realms Pearl and using his own body to suppress the land, that they understood.

The weather isn't exactly sunny and pleasant, but Lin Sheng is still happy, thinking that he'll soon meet his online friend.

But when he arrives, all he sees is his roommate, smiling as he repeatedly checks the time.

As if sensing Lin Sheng's gaze, the two lock eyes.

Cheng Yan can't help asking,

"Online friend?"

"..." Lin Sheng answers with silence.

"The weather's pretty nice today," Cheng Yan says awkwardly.

"It's lovely." Lin Sheng looks up at the sky as it grows darker, then glances at the ground, already marked with raindrops. He refuses to look at Cheng Yan.

A clap of thunder rumbles overhead. The downpour drenches the two of them, leaving them at a loss and soaked to the skin.

After learning that their online friend is the roommate they can't stand, the two should have awkwardly gone their separate ways and never spoken again.

So why did they end up together?

Lin Sheng can't figure it out. What confuses him even more is...

On the much-anticipated day, Lin Sheng cleans himself up and pounces on Cheng Yan, who is lying on the bed. He rolls over, and the two successfully switch positions.

Cheng Yan suddenly realizes something is wrong and rolls them back again.

They roll back and forth until all that's left is two utterly exhausted people staring wide-eyed at each other.

Lin Sheng: "Don't tell me you want to be the bottom."

Cheng Yan: "Don't tell me you want to be an omega."
