In the second year after losing his memory, an elf claiming to be Si Wei's husband showed up at his door.
Si Wei: ? He's a perfectly ordinary young man, a lifelong bachelor and overworked office drone. When did he get a husband? How come he doesn't know about it?
Lately, supernatural phenomena have been appearing with increasing frequency. Reports about them keep trending, only to be quickly debunked.
For most people, they just add a little excitement to everyday life. How many would believe these vague, far-fetched rumors?
Si Wei does.
It's been two years since he inexplicably disappeared and returned with his memories wiped clean. As he tried to fit back into society, all the strange changes in his body made him realize those rumors might not be mere rumors.
So when supernatural phenomena started cropping up all around him, Si Wei wasn't particularly surprised. He was only occasionally puzzled.
Why did the monsters look at him as if he were a demon king crawling out of the abyss whenever he stepped in to deal with them?
They were the ones with the scarier faces.
Si Wei turned to his elf and complained about it.
The awkwardness of their early days together had faded. The unconscious little gestures in their daily lives and the occasional sense of deja vu gradually convinced Si Wei that they really had once been very close friends.
As the magic energy within him filled up, fragments of his memories began to return.
Si Wei started dreaming frequently, and his memories began to come back along with the dreams.
Sometimes, in his dreams, he would slip into an all-knowing, godlike perspective, watching his past self and Iluxia grow up together with fondness.
But something felt off. From an onlooker's perspective, those two in his dreams seemed to be getting along a little too intimately?
Aren't we friends?
Is this right?
Besides, Si Wei remembered that he and Iluxia really had been married.
Si Wei: ?
What kind of normal person marries their friend?!
They were comrades who fought side by side, and best friends who entrusted each other with their lives.
That had always been their shared understanding. Before Si Wei left, Iluxia had never doubted it.
But after Si Wei was gone, the elf waited countless times by the planar passage, yet never saw the one he longed for return. He began to wonder: why couldn't they have been closer than that?
If they had been, then when they parted, he wouldn't have had to hold himself back so much. He could have touched him, embraced him, and asked for more without reservation.
The two of them had made a marriage pact beneath the witness of the moonlight.
Even if it had only been a necessary expedient.
Even the Moonwell recognized their bond. Why couldn't that bond become real?
We are best friends, but we can be more than that. He was always meant to be my prince consort.
Si Wei broke his promise.
Iluxia raised a hand to touch the planar passage. If he wouldn't come back, then Iluxia would go find him.
Elven King x genius space mage
The story of two overpowered heroes finally catching on after an accident, once their adventures are over
A Western fantasy version of spiritual qi revival. The two worlds will eventually connect.
Below is the preview for my upcoming novel, Song of Silver Wings, the main story about Si Wei and Iluxia's past.
An epic Western fantasy progression story
With a touch of steampunk, the world features magical technology.
Si Wei wanted revenge, and he was ready to pay with his life.
But whether by luck or misfortune, after an earthquake, he opened his eyes to find himself in a strange world.
A young man with golden hair took him home, taught him the language, and instructed him in magic.
He taught him how to live in this world, and taught Si Wei, who had always hesitated before, how to kill.
At first, Si Wei called the golden-haired young man his teacher.
Later, they became traveling companions and best friends who would trust each other with their lives.
Following the path laid by those who came before him, Si Wei pressed forward one step at a time, reaching the pinnacle of this world in the name of Silver Wings.
Reader's guide:
1. The two leads are men. The author doesn't really like it when people call them wives.
2. The magic system is partly based on the DND 5e rulebooks and common Western fantasy conventions.
3. This is not a story about people being mistaken for someone else. The protagonist, Si Wei, is genuinely powerful, especially at magic, and is stronger than his partner, who excels more at swordsmanship and archery.
4. The world is based on Earth, but includes some fictional elements.
5. The story leans toward romance, but has a substantial plot component too.
6. They're very much in love. I didn't swallow the key, I destroyed it outright. Don't expect anyone to unlock this relationship in this lifetime.
Theme: Unity is strength
It's been two days, meow(:3″∠)

I was also crashed by the stock market, so I came to read the novel, and it crashed for the second time 🥺
I had been looking for a book I liked for a long time, and finally I saw this book on a folder with a very interesting setting. Although it's hard to describe, when I saw it, I really had the idea of getting to know this author for the first time. I really like it, and I hope you can support it.
Oh, what's going on? Do you really want to kill people? 🥺 I actually don't want him to destroy himself for scum, so he can't die accidentally on a mission 🥺 🥺
