Onmyoji Idea Collection

Everyone says that the head of the Genji clan, Minamoto no Yorimitsu, is a paragon of virtue and the supreme blade protecting Kyoto.

But no one knows that the one he cut down with his own hands was not only the evil Yamata no Orochi, who brought chaos to the world, but also the one person buried deep in his heart, the only one with whom he ever shared ambitions and secrets... his beloved.

From then on, Minamoto no Yorimitsu was truly alone. He stepped over the corpses of demons and political rivals to reach the pinnacle of power, growing ever more unscrupulous and manipulating the world as if it were in the palm of his hand. He conquered the realm, but lost his own "world" forever.

He thought he had put an end to the evil god who had wanted nothing more than to throw the world into chaos, until

The rim of the wine cup he always used began to show strange patterns like snake scales.

Between the documents he reviewed, blood-red wild script appeared, winding across the page: "Lonely, Yorimitsu?"

Endless entanglements in his dreams, that touch both cold and burning, wore away at his unbreakable reason day after day.

"What do you want from me?!" On a rainy night, Minamoto no Yorimitsu shouted at the empty courtyard. The old wound beneath his collar burned like fire.

The next moment, a chilling presence wrapped around him from behind. A familiar voice brushed his ear, full of mockery and boundless malice:

"I came to see you, my not-yet-widowed clan head."

"To see you make this world more entertaining than my hell."

Minamoto no Yorimitsu spun around, but caught only a wisp of dissipating black mist and a soft laugh.

It turned out he could cut neither fate nor his "dead husband," who delighted in evil and fed on his suffering...

He thought he'd been widowed, but his ex-husband was actually squatting by his grave, watching him stir up trouble.

After the god-slaying, the evil god broke his seal and started showing up in my dreams every day.

We once shared ambitions, and now we share hell. Fair enough.
