My master is a great hero, and I was a stinking beggar he picked up.

My master is handsome and treats me well, but I can't stand him! He's usually quiet, and the way he looks at people is like they owe him two strings of cash. Whenever he looks at me, I want to stuff his mouth shut and break both his legs. Take that, looking down on me!

Of course, I only think about it. I wouldn't actually dare.

What I didn't expect was that Heaven would really give me a chance. I don't know what my master was thinking, but he actually went to steal something from the imperial palace! I don't know what he stole, but tens of thousands of people were sent out just to catch him.

He was captured. The officials tortured him relentlessly, trying to force him to reveal where the thing was. He was nearly beaten to death, but still refused to give it back.

Damn it, what kind of junk is worth more than your own life?

The officials were at their wits' end, so they came to me and asked me to talk some sense into him. I had barely arrived when he saw me and started cursing! He even told me to get lost. Damn it, I saw red. I whipped off my pants and, in front of that whole crowd, stuffed his mouth shut.

Then I had my way with him again.

He was so furious. He hadn't made a sound even when they'd beaten him half to death, but I made his eyes turn red. He cried out again and again, biting his lips until they bled and still failing to hold back. In the end, he stopped trying to stifle himself and cried as he called me an animal, cursed me to die a horrible death, and told me to get lost.

I refused. A chance this good doesn't come along twice.

Later, when he escaped, he killed me with one sword stroke.

Well, that's that. Now we're even, and neither of us is worse off.

As I was dying, I lunged forward and hugged him one more time.

In the end, I was the one who got the better deal.
