He’s a little touched. His life is already miserable, and yet so many people are lining up to take it.
The hapless Song Chixue is close to tears. “Don’t come near me!”
But then, things start to take a strange turn.
His fellow disciple stops scolding him and says, “There’ll be more chances to cultivate, but there’s only one chance to have you.”
The hero stops condemning him and says, “You’ve toyed with so many people’s feelings already. What’s one more, mine?”

At last, one day, Song Chixue gets the chance to live another life: he fakes his death.
After faking his death, he lives a carefree life in a remote mountain manor. The wanted posters issued by the domineering hero are posted ten thousand miles away, and he no longer has to live in fear, constantly watching out for other people.
Until one snowy day, three years later, someone spots him while he’s out.
When the domineering hero sees him, his eyes lock onto him without wavering. His expression seems even more gloomy than before!
Song Chixue turns and runs. Behind him, he hears the bowstring draw taut, and knows he won’t get away.
With a whoosh, the icy arrow leaves the bow.
Realizing he’s about to be turned to dust, Song Chixue’s legs give way, and he falls to his knees in the deep snow.
The expected pain of an arrow through his heart never comes. Song Chixue is stunned for a moment, then falls into a trembling, warm embrace.
A scorching tear silently falls, leaving a small dark spot in the vast snowy landscape.
The domineering hero struggles to hold back his trembling and chokes out against his ear, “I hate you so much...”
Song Chixue blinks in confusion. Bro, this isn’t right...
