Even when Tang Ling and Lin Xiu were still married, Lin Xiu often stayed out all night. Tang Ling thought they would see each other even less after the divorce. Later, he learns that isn't true.

At first, it's fine. Lin Xiu doesn't show up in front of him too often. But then things get ridiculous.

They run into each other at their alma mater. "Want to take a walk together? Just a casual stroll to clear our heads."

They run into each other at the hospital. "Yeah, I was planning to bring you some snacks. Something came up on the way."

Eventually, he stops even trying to hide it. "There's a new movie out this weekend. Want to go see it together?"

"I somehow got two half-price tickets to the amusement park the other day. Want to go try it out tomorrow?"

Finally, at the home Lin Xiu had signed over to him in the divorce, Tang Ling spends the night entangled with someone while too drunk to think clearly. When he wakes up, Lin Xiu is red-eyed and asks him with a wounded expression:

"Honey, will you remarry me?"

1. This is a second-chance romance where the mirror never actually broke. The beginning is bittersweet, and the middle and later parts should be sweet. When they were young, the shou pursued the gong. After their divorce, the gong pursues the shou.
