The female insect's white-gloved fingers hovered over his flat lower abdomen, as if hinting at something.

Lesta pinned Avery's hands behind his back and pressed the male insect against a gravity regulator. His hair was damp with sweat and stuck to his face as he leaned in to kiss the male insect's reddened eye.

"The separation application you submitted last week," the female insect murmured, his breath scorching hot. "Withdraw it."

Avery tilted his head back and released his male pheromones. The instant Lesta stiffened instinctively, Avery turned them around and reversed their positions.

"I think the captain should learn... how to communicate with his male spouse in a normal way."

His fingers leisurely brushed over the burning insect markings, provoking an instinctive shudder.

"They must have taught you this in premarital classes. What should you do when asking your male spouse for something?"

Half a minute later, Sun Chaser slammed the suitor's mecha against a wall. A blur flashed by, followed by a deafening crash. The mecha slowly slid to the ground, its parts breaking apart and scattering as if it had been dismantled.

"I'm married. Don't ask again."

His tone was calm and cold, like an unquestionable judgment.

At the rest area beside the interstellar mecha league arena, Feitz sat with his eyes lowered on a bench.

A young female insect in an engineer's jacket approached step by step. Under the gaze of the entire crowd, he knelt on one knee without hesitation. Looking up at the only male insect at the arena's edge, he placed a glowing mecha core on Feitz's lap.

"I've finished optimizing it for you. Sun Chaser deserves the best power core."

Feitz lowered his eyes and nodded in quiet approval. Then, amid countless shocked and envious gazes, he suddenly reached out, grabbed the back of the female insect's neck, and gave him a deep kiss he couldn't refuse.

The young tycoon who controlled the largest star-source mineral deposit obediently tilted his head back and returned the kiss with near-reverence.

[Bonus Scene]

Late at night, in the mecha workshop.

Feitz lounged in an armchair, his eyes lowered toward the female insect kneeling on the floor. Wearing protective goggles, the latter was intently calibrating the mecha sensor connector on Feitz's foot.

Feitz suddenly stretched out his foot. A thin layer of mecha armor covered its icy tip as he slowly and forcefully pressed it against the female insect's rising and falling chest.

"I'm tired, Kanepat."

The female insect stopped and looked up, just in time to see the male insect cover his mouth and yawn.

"Please give me five more minutes, male spouse."

Kanepat spoke softly, pressing a scorching kiss to the top of Feitz's foot.

Feitz smiled faintly, his eyes half-closed. His toes gently brushed back against Kanepat's palm.
