Falling for My Fox Landlord? Just Dog Things

Fox seme & dog uke. Names to be decided! They'll be changed once I think of some.

I heard today is International Dog Day, so here's a dog-protagonist story on my upcoming list~

A friend introduced a dog to a fox, explaining that the dog had come from the mountains and had nowhere to stay for now. The fox could let him stay for a while. The fox was injured and needed to recuperate, and the dog could help out around the house.

The friend assured him, "He's very easy to look after, just like a puppy, and he's great at taking care of spirits! Just put a mat by the door for him and he'll settle right in!"

The fox looked at the enormous dog before him. Help! I'd been tricked! There's no way a dog this big will fit by the door!

The snow-mountain mastiff had just come down from the mountains for the first time when a friend introduced him to a fox, so he could stay at the fox's place.

The fox's animal form was tiny, with a fluffy tail and a lovely scent... And he was injured, too...

A fox must have a hard time getting by in the city! He looked so easy to bully...

The dog decided to protect him!

An ordinary house was far too dangerous. The dog had to live beside him so he could protect him!

The fox's injury healed, but he was a little reluctant to see the dog leave. He asked when the dog would buy a new house. The dog replied innocently that he'd already bought one ages ago. The fox was disappointed but said nothing, then asked when he was moving out. The dog promptly scooped the fox, now in his animal form, into his arms and said they could go right now!

Nestled against the dog's strong, firm chest, the fox felt a little happy and a little unhappy. "? What does this have to do with me?"

The dog replied, perfectly reasonably, "I'm taking you to see our new home."

The fox: "??"
