Big Brother, Can I Be Your Empress?

Elowen is a pampered young male insect. One day, while browsing novels on the StarNet, he transmigrates into a book and becomes a wild male insect stranded on a desolate planet.

Elowen surveys the bare room and sighs, then speaks to the AI that came with him: "Hi, A. Send Hesper a signal and tell him to come get me right away."

AI: "Sorry, Elowen. This operation is not supported in the current mode."

Before Elowen can say anything else, a loud crash rings out as a spacecraft lands. A towering figure pushes open the door and strides in.

The young, handsome, taciturn military female insect from the original novel has landed right in front of him.

Hesper detects an unusual signal coming from a certain desolate planet.

He goes alone to investigate, only to encounter a pretty young male insect.

The young male insect looks at him with deep violet eyes, the mark of a high-ranking male insect. "Are you here to take me home?"

When Hesper doesn't answer, the young male adds, "Take me with you, big brother. I'll repay you someday. Don't get married. When I grow up, I'll make you my female consort. How about it?"

Hesper knows he should report this immediately, but as he looks at the young male, he finds he can't bring himself to refuse.

Seven years later.

Elowen stands in the middle of the military headquarters' lobby, wearing formal attire that accentuates his tall, handsome figure. Golden tassels hang from his shoulders, making his eyes look all the more dazzling.

Just hours ago, he registered his awakening with the Male Insect Protection Association. He should be attending the celebratory banquet being held in his honor, but instead he came straight here.

"Hesper."

He calls out to the figure descending the stairs.

"Your Excellency Elowen." The female insect's expression softens, though his tone remains formal. "Congratulations on your awakening."

"Thank you." Elowen's eyes curve into a smile as he reaches out and tugs at Hesper's sleeve.

"Do you remember what I told you seven years ago?"

Hesper stops in his tracks.

"I've entered my awakening period now, so I'm here to make good on my promise. Come be my female consort, okay?"

[Bonus Scene]

Before the awakening period.

"Hesper, why didn't you ask me for help when your pheromones were all over the place?"

The young military female insect is taken aback by the question, then gives a somewhat forced smile. "...You're not grown up yet, baby."

After the awakening period.

"When you called me baby and turned me down back then, did you ever imagine this day, Hesper?" Elowen puts an arm around Hesper's waist, holding him with unmistakable possessiveness.

"...I was doing it for your own good."

"Then now I'm doing this for your own good, too. Hmm?" The male insect gives him a familiar pat, as if whispering in his ear. "Bear with it, big bro-ther."
