The mythology draws on Qu Yuan's Nine Songs, so this is categorised as a derivative work. It contains a lot of original additions.
Everything else isn't much different from an original work~

Synopsis:
Jiao Yun accidentally trespasses into the Underworld. Afraid of being punished by the Earth Official, she makes up a lie about breaking a vow to search for a relative.
She claims she abandoned her old love for a new one, and that her former lover died because of her. Now she's here to seek out her deceased husband's soul.
Jiao Yun acts utterly remorseful, her tears and heartfelt performance of a prodigal returning home moving a passing lonely ghost.
The helpful ghost says he can summon a soul through a portrait.
He stamps the portrait she casually drew and tells her that the person in it has come back to life.
Jiao Yun isn't bothered. The man is someone she made up out of thin air. How could he possibly have a soul for the ghost to summon?
She uses this to avoid punishment in the Underworld, then happily returns to the mortal world and opens her front door
The tall, handsome man from the portrait is sitting in the courtyard, mending her clothes.
His gaze is dark and his voice icy. "You'd actually divorce me for that fox spirit?"
Good heavens, that old geezer really did it.
.
The husband summoned by the ghost has a bad temper, but at least he's handsome and capable, and can take care of anything she needs.
Jiao Yun thinks she can make do with this kind of life.
That is, until one day, while hunting demons, she breaks open the door of an old mansion and comes face-to-face with a beauty undressing to wash up.
The beauty looks exactly like her husband, but carries herself with the gentle grace of a moon god.
"Faithless woman, you've finally come to see me." The beauty dabs at their tears with a sleeve.
Good heavens, the old geezer really did give her two for the price of one.
How on earth did he summon two souls with the same face?!
Yun Zhongjun oversees all the gods of Yunmeng Marsh, and those gods are also his incarnations. Though they are incarnations, each has their own duties and is independent.
One day, his subordinate, the Rain Master, breaks a taboo and tries to escape his control for the sake of the one he loves.
Looking through the Rain Master's eyes, Yun Zhongjun sees the person they love.
The young woman's eyes shine brightly, and, unexpectedly, she throws his heart into disarray.
Yun Zhongjun falls for his incarnation's beloved. He tells Si Ming about it, and Si Ming gives him a vicious scolding.
He calls him a homewrecker, a shameless interloper, and worse.
Yun Zhongjun doesn't care. He insists on stealing his incarnation's beloved.
When he descends to the mortal world, he has Si Ming send him to Jiao Yun.
But the old man's divine powers go a little haywire.
Now Yun Zhongjun is both Jiao Yun's husband and the man she's keeping on the side.
