Little Bodhisattva

During Emperor Wu of Han's reign, the witchcraft disaster erupted, and Chang'an ran red with blood. The Li family was implicated and nearly wiped out, while a collateral branch was exiled to Yin City.

Yin City was plagued by evil winds. To protect themselves, the ancestors of the prominent Li family worshipped an unknown goddess statue made of jade, and the clan respectfully called her "Bodhisattva."

Generations later, demons besieged the city. With nowhere else to turn, the Li family prayed to the Bodhisattva for protection.

Though still young, Li Junfeng already showed signs of becoming the ruler of Yin City and the leading figure of the righteous path. When he saw the statue with his father, he was struck as if by lightning, captivated at first sight.

The jade statue's origins are unknown. She seems both demonic and divine. The goddess is worshipped by her followers and depends on them.

Legend has it that no one must harbor improper thoughts about her, or she will fall from her divine pedestal and descend into the mortal world.
