(DC and Marvel) Christie's Fifteen Lives

At the end of one of my lives, I was a white-haired old woman, my skin wrinkled like a dried orange peel. He came to my bedside, his expression calm and sad.

The God of the Human World looked at me so gently, just as he always had. His face had weathered no storms, while I was withering away and approaching death. In that moment, I was more frightened than ever. Everything was about to begin again. The people and things I knew would forget I had ever existed. It happened again and again, without end.

So I made up my mind. I would reach true death. I wanted my bones buried three feet beneath the earth forever. I wanted Clark Kent to die with me.

Not pure romance. A love filled with hate and heartbreak. Most likely an all-male-lead story, with a moderate chance of one male lead and a small chance of no romantic pairing.

The rebirth premise and title are adapted from the British science fiction novel The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North.

Trauma warning: Please do not read this if you have experienced trauma of any kind.
