(Spider-Man) Those Five Years You Were Gone

"Hey, I'm back."

The boy stood at your door, looking ashamed.

You thought you were dreaming. You'd just gotten out of bed and were still in your pajamas, with your hair a mess. After working on your thesis all night, you'd only slept for two hours before getting up to go to class.

Then you opened the door, and your boyfriend Peter Parker, who had turned to ash five years ago, was back.

*A short, first-person romance with a lovestruck narrator
