The Little Mute Is Still Being Well Cared for Today

-

In the drizzling rain of Nancheng, Xia Nian grew up obediently here until the age of seventeen.

Then, the day before her eighteenth birthday, she was thrown into Beicheng's bitterly cold winds.

As sleet and hail mingled in the air,

Xia Nian blended into the world, everything turning white.

-

The roar of a motorcycle mingled with exhaust fumes. Sparks from incompletely burned fuel set a pristine alley ablaze.

Xu Cifeng swung his long legs over the bike, his sharp brows drawing together slightly, and casually picked someone up off the roadside.

"Hey, mute. Get on."

Then he put some flesh on the boy's thin cheeks, and he shot up several inches.

The hand that held a paintbrush no longer turned red in winter, and his dry, hoarse voice learned to call him "Big Brother" in a sweet tone.

And then, he lost the little mute.

-

In the seven years they were apart, the pull tabs of cans were always stuck around his knuckles.

When his wedding ring wouldn't fit, would the laughter of that heartless boy from back then ring out again?

Still, when they met again, it would be better to keep things dignified.

Xia Nian looked at the person sitting by the bed. With a cigarette between his fingers, he casually pulled several bright red bills from his wallet.

Just like the red marks on his inner thigh years ago.

Then he heard Xu Cifeng ask, "Is this enough?"

"If it isn't, there's more."

But seven years ago, Xu Cifeng had clearly asked, "Does it hurt?"

· One-on-one, happy ending, both are each other's first love

· The shou isn't actually mute. There's another reason he doesn't speak.
