The story of Lian.

Excerpt from Chapter 13

Lian was powerless against death.

But she knew how to live as herself within the time she had.

She said it was interesting that people felt anger when they saw their enemies. In truth, it really was interesting. For example, driven by anger, she had actually managed to kill a man whose skills far surpassed her own.

Lian loved emotions. Her extraordinary ability to sense them had made her obsessed with emotions since childhood.

Anger, she thought. It was anger.

It was anger that let her feel the spark of life for the first time in so long. It was emotion that kept her from forgetting she existed.

There was nothing wrong with that.

She was human. She lived vibrantly through her emotions. And only by living could she feel and love this world with all her heart.

...Just as her parents had taught her.

Theme: No matter what happens, I will always love this world passionately, won't I? Yes.
