After the Hated Prince Was Usurped

The general usurped the throne.

But when he pinned me beneath his feet, my first reaction wasn't hatred.

It was this: I wanted to defile him.

I wanted to so badly.

By the time I realized what I was thinking, he had already dragged me down to my knees, leaving me in a humiliating pose. He looked down at me, and I lifted my face to gaze at him like a dog admiring its master.

This was dangerous.

A strange excitement stirred in me, but it vanished the moment I met the disgust in his eyes.

I'd forgotten. We were bound by a blood feud.

I'd forgotten that he couldn't bring himself to kill me because I looked like my second brother.

But I didn't want him looking at my face and remembering someone else. I didn't want to be a substitute.

Why should I be a substitute?

A poisonous glint suddenly flashed in my eyes. As his expression turned wistful, I spoke cruelly, shattering the beautiful illusion he'd built for himself. "Gu Chongfeng, Shen Congyu has been dead for ages. Open your eyes and take a good look at who I really am."

Disgust appeared in his eyes. I knew he could never love me, not in this lifetime, because the person he loved had died by my hand.

But I was the Son of Heaven.

I deserved to have the finest things in the world.

So I would insist on having him, whether he liked it or not.
