The Widow

After her husband died, people were always coveting Xu Lingyi's beauty.

One day, her late husband's friend came to visit again and tried to assault her.

In her panic, she rushed into a study.

The man behind the desk looked stern. "What does this mean?"

It was Shen Shifei, the Dali Temple Minister, famous for keeping his distance from women. He was also the newly acknowledged elder brother of her late husband.

Hearing footsteps drawing closer outside the door, Xu Lingyi whispered, "Let me hide here."

In the damp rainy season, the air in the study was stifling.

The two men calmly discussed the weather while Xu Lingyi, hidden beneath the desk, sweated profusely.

Suddenly, a scorching hand touched her cheek and roamed over her body.

Xu Lingyi saw the scar in the web of his thumb, exactly like the one on the hand that had killed her husband.

Daring not to make a sound, Xu Lingyi clamped a hand over her mouth.

A quarter of an hour later, her late husband's friend finally left, but Xu Lingyi was unable to escape the study that day.

Afterward, Xu Lingyi learned two things:

First: Shen Shifei might be the one who murdered her husband.

Second: He had a sex addiction.

That day, he was in the middle of an episode.

She decided to seduce him.
