I'm Playing a 'Romance' Game!

No days off, not even for a single day. Telling people to get a job is a crime punishable by lightning.

After deserting the invisible werewolf unit, Mei Huang refuses her sister's invitation to join Libra and decisively becomes a shut-in NEET.

Drink soda when thirsty, sleep when tired, play games when bored. Not having to work is great!

Then she's bound to a "dating RPG" game System, which threatens her with death unless she clears the game and gets the happy ending.

Right after entering the game, she's back to being a corporate drone, and is also given a secret mission to infiltrate the enemy organization, the Port Mafia, and obtain vital intelligence.

On her first day undercover, Mei Huang gets into a fight with a candidate executive. His affection inexplicably goes up by 10.

System: Did I bind a romance prodigy?

Mei Huang: Why date when you can fight?

The life of a corporate drone is worse than death, so Mei Huang decides to actually die.

One second she's jumping into a river, and the next she gets a notification from the System that affection has gone up by 10. She's "won over" another candidate executive.

System: Is this part of your strategy to win him over?

Mei Huang: No, he's just crazy.

After finishing her undercover mission, Mei Huang makes a clean getaway and fakes her death to return to her original organization.

As soon as she gets back, she's run into the ground by a blond, dark-skinned workaholic.

Driven to the brink, Mei Huang blurts out, "I'm done. I'm switching sides and turning all of you in. I'd rather go to jail than go to work!"

System notification:

Bourbon, Scotch, Rye affection +10.

Gin affection -100.

System: Are you secretly born with a natural talent for romance?

Mei Huang: No, they're crazy.

Work? No way!

Mei Huang defects again and, while on the run, accidentally stumbles into a battle between sorcerers.

She punches curse users and stomps cursed spirits.

The System sends another affection notification:

Sorcerers Gojo, Geto, and Shoko affection +10.

System: Binding you to play a dating game is a blessing for me.

Mei Huang: What? I'm playing a dating game, not a fighting simulator?!

After the game ends, she returns to HL, only to be told that the worlds have finished merging and all the NPCs whose affection had reached 100% have arrived in the real world.

System: Want to date? There's guaranteed to be a love rivalry.

Mei Huang: No thanks, I'm not dating. I'll just fight.
