After Getting My Fix of Dazai

Haruna Anri fell in love at first sight.

The object of her affection was an investigator at the Armed Detective Agency.

He turned down her confession, but she couldn't let go of him. Guilt-ridden, she could only use her ability to get a substitute fix.

But when she used her ability, what appeared before Haruna Anri was not the young man she had imagined. It was a boy even shorter than she was.

Looking at his face, far more youthful than her crush's but still remarkably handsome, Haruna Anri took a deep breath.

She could work with this substitute!

And later, when her ability started acting up and it occasionally produced other substitutes, like a cold-faced boy her own age, a pale young man in a red scarf, and even a black cat with an incredibly cute meow who was a master at acting adorable...

Haruna Anri: She could work with all of them!!!

Only later did Haruna Anri realize that what she'd been enjoying wasn't a substitute at all. It had always been the real thing.

Tips:

1. Contains lots of original settings and alterations. High school girl x my take on Dazai, a sweet treat.

2. Includes a Dazai harem: Blue-Era, Dark-Era, Armed Detective Agency, and boss Dazai, and even Dazai the cat (?).

3. The heroine's ability is broadly similar to Mori's, but not quite the same. It affects souls rather than bodies, so it works on Dazai.

4. The author is a delicate little bird who only wants to hear people praise Dazai. Comments that aren't kind to him will be eaten, but Dazai praise is very welcome!

5. Weibo: @Douqi, have you written properly today?

6. The title and synopsis are tentative and may change, but the premise won't. "25/03/18"

Theme: When you face difficulties, you can find another way forward.
