Mr. Dazai Applies to Remarry

Haruka Hanashiori, formerly an ace agent with the Special Abilities Division.

Her ability, "Fragrance on the Sleeves," lets her sniff out information from scents, making it an ideal power for an undercover agent.

But what people are even more curious about than her ability is her marital status.

Divorced.

Though Haruka Hanashiori doesn't think she has much feeling for her ex-husband, he certainly left a deep impression on her.

After all, he used to drop by her place at the most inconvenient times, passively activating his nullification ability and getting in the way of her lying flat while listening for information...

That was enough to make her "think of him" for a long time.

By "think of him," she means wanting to shoo him away like a cat.

But... how to put it? He was so much like a fussy cat that, time and again, he managed to lead her down the wrong path.

After all, what harm could a little cat possibly do?

--Dazai really could do plenty.

"Hanashiori..."

"When are we getting remarried?"

But they had only gotten married in the first place because Dazai's mission required an absolutely authentic marriage certificate.

So they got divorced less than three days after the wedding.

And now he was asking her to marry him again?

As if!

Tips:

1. The marriage-and-divorce trope comes from an old tabletop role-playing video by Asagiri.

2. Bungou Stray Dogs only, with lots of headcanon. Any out-of-character writing is on me.

3. Everyday-life style; the plot serves the romance. If anything is not to your taste, feel free to stop reading. No need to tell me you're dropping it.

4. Gugu is a fragile little pigeon who just wants to hear people praise Dazai. Comments that aren't nice to Dazai will get eaten, but Dazai praise is very welcome!
