All These Years Married to a Scheming Man

What to keep in mind when marrying a scheming man:

First, don't flirt with anyone outside the marriage. He doesn't buy the whole "a bad girl reforms and comes back" routine.

Second, don't ignore his feelings. He'll think you're avoiding him.

Third, try not to mention your old flame in front of him, even if that old flame is his boss.

Fourth, don't promise what you can't deliver. He takes promises very seriously.

Fifth, don't let him think you've lost interest in him. Even if you have to fake it, say, "Dinner's over there," when he gets home from work. Otherwise, he'll make snide remarks.

Sixth, don't hide where you've been or lie. The consequences will be serious.

These are the six things Lan You'an learned after four years of marriage to a scheming man. This year, as the couple enters their fifth year of marriage, she has discovered a few more things to keep in mind.
