In year one of Detective Conan, beneath the statue at a long-abandoned cat shrine, a young man dressed in a kimono opened catlike blue eyes, with no memories of who he was.

A voice in his head informed him that detectives now ran rampant, the police were in decline, and he was needed to restore glory to law enforcement.

Jingguang: So I'm a police officer.

System: No, you're a detective, codename "Suzuki."

Jingguang: ?

System: I'll catch three more souls from other worlds to help you. They are

An invincible Stand user;

(Big Gorilla: ?)

A Mafia member who doesn't kill;

(Curly-Haired Gorilla: ?)

A squinty-eyed curse user.

(Handsome Gorilla: Awesome!)
