In Detective Conan, I Clock In at Key Plot Points with a License

News reporter Ozawa Clara (Ozawa Kerara), 26, upset the interests of capital and was killed in a setup by someone. Reborn in Beika Town as an unemployed drifter, she got her press credentials, returned to her old line of work, and started clocking in twice a day, both at work and in her after-hours life.

[Checking plot point: The speed at which cherry blossoms fall]

Clara: Five centimeters per second.

Some passing police academy freshman, M-kun: Sorry, what did you say?

Clara: Nothing. I'm here to cover this year's police academy recruits. Mind if I take a picture?

Six months later, undercover rookie M-kun: I mind.

[Checking plot point: The 12 million hostages of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department]

Clara: Forget the hostages for a second. This kid's defusing a bomb without a blast suit. The photos will shock both our bosses first.

Rising bomb disposal star H-kun: But that's such a hassle!

Clara: Wait till I gossip about you to your boss. Then you'll know what a hassle is.

Rising bomb disposal star H-kun: .

[Checking plot point: The eternally young, eternally seven-year-old great detective]

Clara: Shinichi Kudo?

Some little kid: ...You know me?

Clara: I can see the titles hanging over your heads. Uh, never mind, it's not important.

System: You're late clocking in.

System: I'm docking your pay.

Clara: Then why don't you pay me when I clock in on time?

System: Because we're cutting costs and improving efficiency.

Clara: Can you stop acting so human?

Clara: Hello.

Clara: Can someone tell me why this group chat is full of FBI agents?

Camel: OMG, I added you to the wrong chat.
