Chronicles of the Thousand Cliffs

Absurd version:

I was reborn, back a thousand years, just as the Archon War began.

In my previous life, I fought and bled for Liyue, worked myself to the bone until my dying breath, and ultimately fell in battle at The Chasm, taking the Riftwolves down with me. Now I've returned to the beginning, carrying the skills honed through a thousand years of war. This time, I swear I'll change every unhappy ending and reclaim everything that should have been mine...

Ahem, ahem. Wasn't that funny? Sorry.

Here's the thing: I really was reborn, and I really did return a thousand years into the past. There was just one little problem. At this point in time, my past self and my reborn self both exist at once.

That's not good.

I watch a young adeptus who looks exactly like my former self standing beside Rex Lapis, while the mortals around him respectfully call him the Crown Prince...

Quiet, I'm barbecuing.

As everyone knows, Rex Lapis doesn't need two adopted sons, just as Golden Bass don't need Wind Gliders. So, past me, draw your sword! In this era, only one of us can remain!

Concise version:

The story of how I accidentally returned to the past, got chased and beaten by my former adoptive father for half the Archon War, then got roped into doing unpaid labor again after we cleared up the misunderstanding

It's basically an old concept for The Rebellious Son. I changed it a bit and decided to write a medium-length short story.

Just something to relax with. No guaranteed update schedule.
