The Lone Minister

[Melancholy, Unfeeling Snowfield Ice Fox x Brave, Thoughtful Southwest Lone Wolf]

1.

Song Ling came down from the mountain.

Following the will of Heaven, she found herself a lord to serve.

It was just that this lord was rather hard to describe.

He was scruffy and unkempt, for one thing, and also a foolish loyalist who blindly served the emperor.

Song Ling looked at the heavens, then the earth, then at the general staring at her with bright, dark eyes. She fell silent for a moment. "Do I really have to be a strategist?"

Heaven: "I'm afraid so."

Song Ling: ...Get lost.

2.

Unlike her predecessors, Song Ling had met a stubborn mule.

General Yu frowned and refused in no uncertain terms. "Loyalty to the emperor and love of country are my duty. Miss, please find someone else."

Again and again...

Song Ling took a deep breath and clenched the fist at her side, but still gave the general a faint smile.

After all, they had plenty of time.

Half a year later.

Song Ling tapped the table and asked with seeming kindness, "General, are you still set on your duty to the emperor?"

General Yu stiffened slightly and looked away timidly. "No. I'm devoted to you."

Song Ling: "Hmm?" (Her long sword slid from its sheath.)

General Yu: "I'm devoted to the people of the world..."

3.

About how I schemed and plotted, only to get myself tangled up in it too.

But I suppose the result isn't bad?

[The female lead is cool and aloof on the outside, but responds to gentleness, not force. The male lead is an obedient, devoted puppy who likes being petted.]

2. The male lead falls for her first, and the female lead indulges him.

3. Romance and plot are split evenly, with a small ensemble cast.

4. Entirely fictional setting. Please don't nitpick historical details.
