Yu Lin recently noticed that his nemesis had been coming over to his place more and more often.

This girl not only took over his TV and game console, she even laid claim to his older brother.

Doesn't she know that's his brother? How can she just call him that?

Then, one sunny afternoon, the two of them got into another argument, and things quickly escalated.

Su Yun accidentally gave him a huge slap.

Before Yu Lin could react, Su Yun ran off, then threw herself into his brother's arms and started complaining.

Excuse him?

His brother, Yu Jing, and his childhood friend? They were just hugging like it was perfectly natural?

Yu Jing furrowed his brow and demanded, without bothering to find out what happened, "Xiao Lin, did you bully Xiao Guai?"

On the first day in her new apartment, she met a strange neighbor.

He went out every evening and didn't return until the early hours of the morning.

He came and went like a ghost, and she had no idea what he did for a living.

Somehow, they always managed to miss each other, and never said hello.

Then, one sunny day after the rain, Nan Qiao saw that her neighbor had gone out in the daytime.

He was silently hanging up a pile of fluffy gray-and-white blankets to dry.

For the first time, Nan Qiao worked up the courage to walk up behind him.

But just then, her neighbor turned around. Startled to see her, he jumped straight into the air.

At least half a meter.

The blanket flew into the air, too.

This neighbor was a real scaredy-cat, Nan Qiao silently concluded.

"Sir, I'm Nan Qiao, your neighbor."

To ease the awkwardness, she said sheepishly, "Your blankets are so fluffy. They're really cute."

But her neighbor remained quiet and reserved. He gave her a strange look, then picked up the blankets and went inside.

Was her neighbor angry?

Nan Qiao spent the whole day overthinking it.

Just as she was wondering how to apologize, the doorbell rang.

It was her neighbor. He stood there with pursed lips, holding a new fluffy blanket. It felt as soft as if it had just been plucked off something.

So her neighbor was softhearted. He thought she wanted one of his blankets.

Nan Qiao and her neighbor slowly became friends, though they were still strangers in many ways.

She really liked this quiet, reserved friend.

Until New Year's Eve, when she worked up the courage to knock on his door and wish him a happy new year.

But instead of the strong, slender arm she expected, a huge fluffy tail poked out through the doorway.

A moment later, its owner pulled it back inside.

A series of growls followed, but they didn't sound threatening at all. They sounded more like a cat begging for attention.

It wanted Nan Qiao to leave.

Nan Qiao opened the door. After exchanging a look with it, she fell silent.

Well, her neighbor had turned into Mr. Snow Leopard.

And he was in heat.

[Little Scene]

The rather large snow leopard rested both huge paws on the wooden railing, his head obediently laid on top as he stared intently at the little one sleeping inside.

His thick tail stuck straight up in the air, swaying slightly to show how happy he was.

His cub.

The one Nan Qiao had given birth to.

The one he and Nan Qiao had together.

A few minutes later.

Nan Qiao angrily grabbed his tail and rubbed it hard. "This is a baby, not your tail. You can't carry it around in your mouth!"
