Alleyway Warmth (Period Piece)

In 1982, six-year-old Baoya walked into an old Shikumen alley, carrying a schoolbag sewn from floral fabric and dragging a fertilizer sack behind her.

She had come to find her real father, Song Chengyun.

He had spent ten years sent down to the countryside, and after the college entrance exams were reinstated, he became the first educated youth from Fenghuangba in Yunnan Province to pass them.

Her father, mother, brothers, and sisters all looked at the little girl in their home, but none of them could bear to tell her that her father had been expelled from school long ago and sent to prison.

Note: Everyday life in the alley, a father and daughter saving each other
