A taste of Arkham Knight Jason Todd summoning players.
Sometimes, Arkham Knight wonders if he should have been a little more levelheaded after just escaping from the Joker.
At the very least, he shouldn't have been so obsessed with getting revenge on the Bat that he agreed to summon [Players] with the ability to [Respawn].
He should have thought it over. Just look at what they've brought to Gotham:
The Penguin can't understand why someone with only a hundred men would dare challenge him.
"Whoa! A mob spawned!" cried a [Player] who spotted the red-name [Penguin], charging in with an [Utterly Ordinary Bottle].
3s later, the player turned into a streak of white light and returned to the [Respawn Point].
3min later, a group of [Players] with green lights in their eyes charged the red-name [Penguin], each holding an [Utterly Ordinary XX].
The Penguin understood.
Black Mask can't understand why the Penguin would bow to Arkham Knight.
"Charge! Claim territory! Start a business!" A [Player] carrying, wearing, and even stuffing into their mouth [Utterly Ordinary Grenades] acquired from the yellow-name [Penguin] posted a call to action on the [Public Chat], then charged the red-name [Black Mask].
Black Mask understood.
The villains of Gotham can't understand why everyone else's reactions are getting stranger and stranger.
At last, the [Players] have arrived to farm mobs, having obtained permission from their faction leader, [Arkham Knight], to use [An Ordinary Tank].
The villains of Gotham understood.
Nightwing and Robin can't understand why Gotham's crime rate and livability are both going up.
As usual, a [Player] climbs through a window into the home of a green-name [Gotham Citizen] to explore.
A few seconds later, after losing a pile of [Karma Points], [Faction Reputation], and various [Affection Points], the [Player] stops, takes out a [Transferable Job Offer] stolen from a red-name character, gives it to the [Gotham Citizen], then climbs out the window and leaves.
Nightwing and Robin understood.
Batman can't understand what Arkham Knight is trying to do.
A player busy claiming territory spots the yellow-name [Batman] arriving and lets out a piercing scream.
"Help, help, help! Why can't we attack yellow names?!"
"Daddy, Daddy! Spare me!"
"Is he really your dad? That's the boss's dad! Grandpa, Grandpa!"
Batman understood.
An explosive makeover means changing things with explosions. Youth has no price, and Gotham gets blown up (just kidding).
Please note:
1. There are only one hundred players summoned at the start. Their numbers will increase as the story progresses, and the players' world has no connection to DC.
2. There will be instances, tentatively including [Injustice], [Flashpoint], and [Reverse Order]. The order is undecided.
3. This is Arkham Knight Jason Todd. I'm not sure I can write the dynamic convincingly.
4. I'll explain in the story why Bat is yellow-name instead of red-name.
Other details undecided.
