The All-Around Game Developer

Zhong Du is a solo game developer who strikes fear into the gaming industry. One person can do the work of several teams.

For the six months before and after a game released by Zhong Du, no studio dares to launch a major project without postponing or delaying it. Bitter experience has taught them not to take the risk.

After five years of silence, Zhong Du announces a release date for his new game and storms back onto the scene!

The studios that have enjoyed five peaceful years are instantly spooked. They delay every game scheduled for release in the next six months, no, the next year, grinding their teeth and watching nervously, afraid the industry's standards will be raised yet again.

But on release day, Zhong Du, who is always punctual, is five hours late. And finally, along with the game, comes a death notice posted by a relative of Zhong Du.

Just as his five years of blood, sweat, and tears are about to pay off, Zhong Du makes a risky decision: he reworks one of the game's mechanics.

To get the game out on time, he works day and night at an intense pace. Unexpectedly, he dies of overwork.

When he opens his eyes, he has transmigrated into a body that has also just died. The difference is that the other person was desperately poor and starved to death, leaving behind two scrawny younger siblings who are crying out for food.

Zhong Du immediately returns to his old profession and starts making games in another world.
